My wife and I went for dinner on mother's day after visiting family most of the day - I had just seen the reviews on maps and it looked interesting. All their drinks are Pisco based and very well done. We started with the calamari salad with pickled vegetables which exceeded my expectations and finished with two of the seafood specials - definitely plan to go back. Lots of families there that night with multiple generations celebrating the day but service was fast attentive despite a good crowd for a Sunday evening. There isn't much parking on the street but there are two free public lots very close.

My best friend from graduate school was a student from Peru, Jesus Melendez. Over the years, we have shared many Peruvian dishes with Jesus and his wife Lucy. The food at K’kinaco were all spot on Peruvian classics!! We got the Causita sampler and the fried Yucca for appetizers. The chicken salad and Ahi tuna were our favorites. It is an interesting dish, made with cold mashed potatoes. We loved the ceviche! Flan for dessert is a classic. I thought it was firmer than I remembered but it was still delicious. My wife enjoyed two pisco cocktails. I stopped drinking alcohol so I got the house made soda.

I highly recommend getting a classic pisco sour and the tuna tiraditos. Even my family who typically do not like raw sushi loved it here. Amazing flavors in an approachable atmosphere. I’m so glad I took staff recommendations through the menu.

Can’t say enough positive things about my experience here. Beautiful space with authentic flavors that honor the amazing flavors of Peru. Every employee either greeted me, smiled, checked in on me, and delivered great service. I was able to chat with the owner and his son as well who were both very personable and made me feel special. My bartender had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Needless to say I will be back and encourage everyone to come check this place out! Great drinks and food! These photos don’t do it justice, but I had to take some pics for my Peruvian friends and people who know. This place is a true TREASURE! Minnesota is lucky to have them.

We went for Valentine's Day and really enjoyed ourselves. Everything was delicious and the service was great. We ordered shishito peppers to start, the Aji de Gallina, and the Udon Saltado. It was all very rich and delightful. I've never had anything quite like the Udon Saltado but it was so good! I also had a Pisco drink which was so tasty.

It is a great place and in a nice location. I thought the service was okay. The food was really good. It came out perfectly cooked. I ordered a Lomo Saltado, and the flavors were there. I also ordered sushi and raw salmon, which was very fresh. I am definitely coming back.

My friend and I had a fabulous experience on a slower Wednesday night. We got the table that we requested, the waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and very engaging. The food was PHENOMENAL and the drinks were refreshing and fun. We only tried 3 things on the menu - the Ceviche, Shashimi and a Fried Roll but all was top notch. We definitely wanna go again and try more items.

I usually wait until i pay my bill before I leave a review but I couldn't help it. I love this place. From the moment I walked in everyone has been inviting and definitely feels like hospitality. Didn't know I was having a whole conversation with the owner until the bartender Alvaro pointed it out. I highly recommend dining here. The food is amazing and definitely unique with the Peruvian/Japanese fusion. Ask the bartender to whip you up something off the top his head and he has you covered!
